Leadership & Advocacy
Leadership, advocacy, and mentorship have always been integral to my work in the arts. I’m committed to fostering opportunities for professional actors, promoting diversity, and supporting the next generation of theatre artists.
Organizational Leadership
I served for 2 and 1/2 years as President of the League of Professional Theatre Women, a volunteer membership organization focused on community, opportunity, camaraderie, and gender parity for women in theatre. I’ve also served as President of the Board of Friends of Music (FOM), where I continue to chair the Diversity Committee and support arts education initiatives.
In addition, I participate in the Diversity Group at ArtsQuest and consult with multiple theatre organizations to promote inclusive practices and meaningful artistic engagement.
Arts Advocacy & Education
I’ve created programs and opportunities that reflect my belief in the transformative power of the arts:
- Founding Essence of Acting, Inc., a professional acting organization providing bold, challenging opportunities for performers.
- Directing and mentoring emerging artists through readings, showcases, and productions nationwide.
- Launching Allentown Children’s Christmas Chorus, giving children free access to music and performance opportunities.

I’m frequently invited to participate in panels, leadership forums, and educational conversations on the arts, diversity, and professional development for actors.

Commitment to Community
Whether advocating for equitable arts funding, mentoring emerging artists, or leading organizations that champion women in theatre, I see leadership as a responsibility to create spaces where talent and creativity can thrive.
