Directing: Unentitled – I directed a staged reading of Charles White’s original play, Unentitled, at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem, PA. The performance was described as “dynamic”, and White praised my direction, saying I was “marvelous to work with”. The reading explored themes of family, resilience, and everyday African American life, and both Charles and I looked forward to seeing the play evolve in future productions.

Directing: Greenwood: An American Dream Destroyed – I directed the first public reading of Celeste Bedford Walker’s Greenwood: An American Dream Destroyed at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA, bringing to life the story of a thriving Black community devastated in the 1921 Oklahoma race riots. Audiences and collaborators praised my direction, and I worked closely with Walker to refine the play, demonstrating my collaborative approach and commitment to storytelling that illuminates history and the human experience.
